Trenton's Surgery

We are all home safe and sound! Trenton and I went into the hospital at 0500 this morning for a 0530 check-in. He didn't go into pre-op until about 0650 and Terry showed up right before he went into the O.R. He was done at about 0920 and the Dr. (dentist) came out and talked to us. Trenton did great and he was able to fill some cavities in between his teeth, 5 of his molars, 1 baby root canal and 5 stainless steele caps on the molars. The molars he will have until he's about 10-12 yrs old, so he will loose the caps when the teeth fall out. I got to go into recovery and hold him until they released him upstairs to Pediatrics. I did not expect to have anything elaborate, but we had our own room in Pediatrics and everyone was very nice and took care of Trenton. He finally woke up at about 1100 and immediately wanted something to drink. He drank some water, ate a popcicle and went to the bathroom. After he did all of that, we were allowed to come home. He walked in the house and asked if he could have McDonald's for lunch. Although he can't have that today...I think he's feeling much better. I have some photos from the hospital, but I will have to figure out how to get them off my phone first.
