A weekend in Ohio

Trenton and I took off for Ohio on Friday morning. We went so that I could surprise one of my very best friends, Hillary, at her post baby shower. We went to the shower on Saturday and just as expected...I shocked her to tears. It was a wonderful feeling to spend the day with Hillary after not seeing her for 9 1/2 years. Meeting her husband, Fredrik and new baby Leia for the first time was just as wonderful. She was so surprised that her mother and I kept this from her since August. Trenton and I stayed with my parents and Trenton got an early Christmas present...a dinosaur that roars and moves around, his eyes even light up. Thanks Grandma and Grandpa...he played with it on the flight home. We flew home this afternoon and although it was a long day, Trenton does not seem the slightest bit tired and I am exhausted.
