Here is a picture of my sick baby. He started running a fever of about 103 on Sunday morning, we gave him some Tylenol, but it didn't do much for him. I called his Dr and although she wasn't too concerned because it hadn't reached 104, she said we could go in whenever we wanted to. After giving him another dose of Motrin this time, he started to come around. He ate some yogurt and rice and he was drinking fluids the whole time. What was odd was that there were no other symptoms. So this morning, it was back up to 103, it never broke! He started to get really groggy this afternoon, so we decided to take him in and good thing. He has an ear infection (only the second one his whole life) and strep throat (the first time). We are used to dealing with strep, Allyson gets it about 3-6 times a year. So we got an antibiotic and we have to continue the Motrin. He's so pathetic looking when the meds wear off, I feel so bad for him. It does give me some cuddling time though because he just wants to lay with me when he doesn't feel good. He's sleeping next to me in our bed right now. Good thing Terry is off this week because Trenton won't be able to go to daycare tomorrow. Terry is actually off for the next 2 weeks. He gets 2 weeks off for being gone for 4 months. It's standard for most people. It's free, and not charged against our leave days. He's going to keep Trenton with him and enjoy the kids while he's off.

How horrible that he is sick. :( Hope he is feeling better!
I constantly had strep throat for about a year when I was in 4th grade. It was really bad, I missed a LOT of school. They realized the illness was never leaving my body, just staying dormant in my body in my tonsils. After I had them removed, I only have had strep throat once in my life since then..!
Blah, blah, blah.. :/ :)
Hope he is feeling better and I know Terry and Trenton will both enjoy their time together. :)
(Hopefully you don't have to pay daycare for the times he doesn't show up or is it a set fee no matter what?!)
We only pay half of the weekly tuition fee when he is out for a full week. So we save some money.
