Lillie Update...and some pictures

Well she gained some weight from yesterday. She was 7lbs 6.5oz and today she's 7lbs 8oz, which is almost what she weighed at birth. Her bilirubin level yesterday was 15.6 and we will have her number from today later this afternoon. The Dr did write a note to discontinue the light treatment after today so this afternoon we can take her off the light. We did have some other things come up though...yesterday and the day before her nursing decreased because she couldn't breath due to congestion. When they checked her O2 level in the office yesterday it was lower than 95 and it's supposed to be between 95 and 100. So they did a chest x-ray to see if everything was developed and everything was good. Today her O2 level was still low, so they pulled some snot from her nose and checked for RSV...a BIG negative...thank God!! Her Dr does not hear anything in her lungs, so that is good. She is just so congested and it's causing her to eat very little at times, so I'm pumping like crazy and my freezer has become a milk chest. So besides that, we are all great...just tired of course. Here are some much wanted pics of the last few days!!

Her first bath at home!

This is the best picture of the light treatment blanket that she's on. It causes this black shadow at times, but you can see the light under her neck/head.

Caught sleeping!!!

LOVE the pix! Thanks for taking the time to update!

With her being so early, we can't be too surprised about a few problems! But she is getting better and we are all praying that she won't stay orange for too much longer. ;) :))

Very cool that you get to have a treatment "center" at home for her! Doubt they would do that here.

Sweet! We can't wait to see her! What a great idea (the blog!). We have gifts for the baby girl - let us know when you are up for visitors.
